Return to the swinging sixties with a K8 kiosk ! Many a young maiden met their Waterloo in one of these fine kiosks, which were introduced 40 years ago as 'modern' replacements for the K6. The introduction of these kiosks also saw the beginning of the withdrawal of the old 'Button B' cash mechanism which many fondly remember as part of our telecom history. Many of these kiosks, with their K6 elders were painted glorious yellow in the 1970's, but were quickly restored to the traditional red following a public outcry.
